On 12th May 2008, a strong earthquake measuring 8-magnitude hit Sichuan, including the Wenchuan County and many other cities and towns, causing enormous economic losses and mental trauma. On 15th May, Sorbo Electronic Co., Ltd. announced the donation of 3,000 flashlights and 2,000 radios worth 400,000 RMB and 50,000 RMB in cash to aid the Sichuan disaster area and relief the victims.

During the development of business SORBO pays close attention to social welfare and takes the responsibility of donation to its society. Based on this concept, over the past 10 years SORBO contributes and supports for education, social welfare, and other areas. Sorbo has contributed to the Pu’er disaster area of Yunnan province and the Tibetan education in 2007.
